3 Punches Knock the Air out of Hall 16

Three salvos were fired by our soccer boys as they sunk Hall 16 in the first game of their campaign. Hall 15 got off to a solid start as Hall 16 seemed unsure of themselves. Hall 15 were not without their own moments of uncertainty but a goal midway through the first half settled their nerves. Quan Cheng Ji was the scorer. He soon added another goal together with Dan Loi Ji Yan to finish the game at 3-0.

Hall 16 had their chances, including a penalty kick, which they squandered. The score could have been more impressive for Hall 15 if not for wasteful finishing and splendid goalkeeping by Hall 16’s goalkeeper.

After listening to the team’s post match debrief, it is clear that the team will be tightening up their act in anticipation of tougher opposition.
