Rough Match for our Basketball Girls

Our basketball girls team took on their second match today against Hall 11. Due to the rain, the match was shifted to the indoor basketball courts at NIE.

In the first quarter of the game, the strength of both teams were on par. The pace of the game quickens in the second and third quarter with Hall 11 leading. In the last quarter, Hall 11 changed tactic and became more defensive. The match ended with Hall 11 winning 19-9.

There are things worth mentioning though - our girls did play well and showed good team work and Wan Choo, our star player, managed to irritate our opponents and thus resulting in them commiting numerous fouls. However, Wan Choo was injured towards the end of the match and had to be substituted out!

In all, well done girls!
