Volleyball Males Down But Not Beaten

Hall 15 vs Hall 16

Alas! Our volleyball guys were defeated in this tight match – but not without giving our opponents a rough time. We started off well but a few consecutive points turned the match in their favour and Hall 16 closed the first set by a small margin of 23-25.

Not to be daunted, our guys fought back with a splendid 25-17 at the end of the second set. Their well-timed coordination and effective blows neatly put our opponents back to their rightful place.

Tension mounted with each dive and smack as we approached the end of the final set. Supporters from each team kept the suspense high with their loud encouragements. The players’ eyes were keen on the ball. The lead volleyed between the two teams and everyone looked on with bated breath as the match reached a deuce. Finally, with a final hit, we lost 25-27.

Nevertheless, it was a good fight and we played on until the very end. Keep up the spirit!
