Yet another victory for softball guys!

Against Hall 10, Hall 15 won yet another splendid game of softball with a score of 16 :5 After consecutive days of pouring rain, the field condition was not looking good. Players had to play in ankle deep mud, hindering optimal performance. The field condition was a challenge especially for pitcher Alvin as he had to make do with handling slimy balls. It was a case of inevitability that accuracy had to be compromised. The game throughout was a good one with the players ever ready to go on the field.
A learning point for our players today would be the importance of players both on and off the field in supporting each other. This comes in terms of taking the initiative in helping clean the ball, as well as not throwing the bat into the mud when it could be handed over to the next batter. Also (as mentioned after the game), instructions should be followed to lessen the number of unnecessary strikeouts.
Overall a great game, looking at today’s performance; the finals could be a possibility for Hall 15. Way to go guys!
